EliteOva is a new research project that will develop a method to choose calves with a variety of desirable genes, already a few days after the egg is fertilized. Overall, the project aim is to secure faster progress in the breeding of future milk cows, so that the production of Danish milk is as efficient and environment-friendly as possible.
